Lithuanians want 'old' time back

VILNIUS (BNS) - The majority of Lithuanians want to return to "old" time, but the government has yet to decide whether to move the country back into the Eastern European time zone.A government survey found that 71 percent of those questioned would like to see the country return to the time zone inhabited by Latvia, Estonia, Belarus and Finland, two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.Only 18 percent of respondents said they prefer to remain in the present time-band.The prime minister's public relations adviser, Ruta Vanagaite, said that she did not know what influence public opinion may have...
