Power exports at top of agenda

WARSAW (BNS) - The Lithuanian and Polish ministers of economic affairs have agreed that a project for Lithuanian electricity exports to the West should be translated into reality without delay.The purpose will require a high-voltage line to be built from Lithuania to Poland and a partner to channel the electricity further to the West, Lithuanian Ambassador to Poland Antanas Valionis said shortly after a meeting between Lithuanian and Polish economic affairs ministers, Eugenijus Maldeikis and Janusz Szteinhof.
