VILNIUS (BNS) - Lithuanian Agriculture Minister Edvardas Makelis could lose his post due to detrimental activities of an agency regulating the agriculture and food market, the Verslo Zinios business daily reported Sept. 6.The agency's director, Danius Rumskas, has already been relieved from his position in the wake of a scandal over possible violations and squandering of the state budget.The non-party minister, who is on his summer vacation until Sept. 8, is facing a deadline of Sept. 6 to submit an explanation about the operations of the market regulation agency, which is within his jurisd...
