St. Patrick's Day in the Baltics

The Baltic states will not be left out of Ireland's National Day on March 17, better known as St. Patrick's Day.

In Tallinn, classical guitaist Patrick Zeoli will perform at Tartu Jaanikirik.

In Riga, the Irish traditional group Bru Boru will perform at the Maza Gilde and make a few appearances in de Lacy's. On March 19 the group will join Skandinieki in the Open Air Ethnographic Museum at 4 pm to celebrate the "Liela Diena."

In Vilnius, Algirdas Klova will play Irish music at a Grafton Recruitment event on March 15. Dancers from the Bastable-Warren Irish Dance Company will perform in Vilnius on St. Patrick's Day. The Ambassador of Ireland to Lithuania, H.E. Mr. Donal Denham, will also give a talk on Ireland to the Vilnius International Club on March 16.
