Russian company: we need 'Latvian' workers

RIGA - A Samara, a Russia-based company seeking factory workers, has placed an advertisement on the Russian Embassy's Web site promising jobs and even citizenship for "Russian-speaking residents" in Latvia who accept the offer.Placed by Tyazhmash, a heavy machinery manufacturer, the ad promises more than just a job and citizenship. It also guarantees temporary living space in a dormitory, an apartment one year later and assistance with a 10-year mortgage.
