TALLINN - Environmental protection laws are some of the toughest and most expensive laws Estonia has to adopt as part of its integration requirements for the European Union, according to a member of Parliament.At a meeting last week with French parliamentarians, MP Mart Nutt, of the Pro Patria Union, said writing laws to protect the environment and raising the effectiveness of enforcing the laws were two of Estonia's hardest tasks in preparing for EU accession.But the MP said that compared to other European countries, Estonia is in a better position to adopt the new legislation.Allan Troom...
