RIGA (BNS) - NATO Secretary General George Robertson on Oct. 26 highly appreciated cooperation projects of the Baltic states in the area of defense and said the countries should be ready not only to receive but also make their own contribution to NATO.Robertson made the remark in Brussels during a meeting with Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, the president's press office told BNS.During the meeting Robertson expressed gratitude to Latvia for participation in the settlement of the crisis in Bosnia and for support to NATO forces in bringing to a halt the tragic developments in Kosovo. ...
