Helicopter breaches Lithuanian airspace

VILNIUS (BNS) - The Russian Embassy in Vilnius hopes that the Oct. 23 violation of the Lithuanian border by a Russian military helicopter at on will not affect relations between the two states, saying that the chopper flew to provide emergency medical aid and lost its orientation."We hope that the incident will have no effect on further development of friendly mutual cooperation," the embassy said in a press release the next day.The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry confirmed the incident.
