GOLD MEDAL PERFORMANCE: It was a good day for Lithuanian athletes last weekend. At the Women's World Cycling Championships in Italy Oct. 9, Lithuanian cyclist Edita Pucinskaite, 23, captured the gold medal while her compatriot, Diana Ziliute, secured the bronze. A Lithuanian sweep was only prevented by Australian athlete Anna Wilson, who took home the silver. Lithuania is quickly becoming known as a top producer of athletes in Eastern Europe.
