Moscow politician lauds Estonia's attitude toward Russians

TALLINN (BNS) - The attitude of the Estonian authorities toward the country's Russian-speaking population is calm and reserved, said Andrei Issayev, one of the leaders of the Otechestvo party in Russia."The Estonian authorities' position with regard to Russians seems to us more constructive than the activity of the authorities in Latvia, where a discriminatory language law was adopted," Issayev said on a visit to Tallinn.Issayev said the precarious status of retired Russian military in Estonia is still a problem that needs solving.
