VILNIUS (BNS) - After a two-hour discussion July 7, the Lithuanian Parliament decided to return the controversial draft decision on setting up a theme park of Soviet statues in southern Lithuania to a committee for further consideration.The head of the Hesona company, Vilimas Malinaus-kas, has decided to set up a Soviet statue theme park on his land. Malinauskas has dozens of statues of communist leaders that were toppled by angry crowds when Lithuania regained independence in 1990 on a long lease from the government.Parliament rejected the draft drawn up by the education, science and cultu...
