Estonia to join WTO in November

TALLINN - Estonia will become the 135th member of the World Trade Organization Nov. 13, despite talk that accession would be delayed because of legalities. President Lennart Meri's signature on the final agreement ratifying membership into the multiple nation trading bloc confirmed Estonia's accession. Confirmation was sent to WTO headquarters in Geneva three days later.
