Dancing her way to Lithuania

With the warm days of summer come classical music festivals to Lithuania. One of them, the Trakai Festival, is trying to become one of the most prestigious annual events of ballet, opera and symphonic music in the world. This year, the festival was held in August in the yard of the medieval Trakai Castle, built by Vytautas the Great on an island in Lake Galve.The highlight of this year's festival was the arrival of the Russian Imperial Ballet, with Gediminas Taranda, a man of Lithuanian origin, as its director.
