RIGA (BNS) - Latvia has the highest number of people in the Baltic states infected by HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, according to the Latvian AIDS Prevention Center.Currently there are 402 HIV positive people in Latvia. In Lithuania, 171 people are infected, while in Estonia, there are 88 with the virus. In all three countries most of the infected people are men.The number of infected people in Latvia has increased most rapidly among the Baltic states - it has almost doubled.Last year on the eve of World AIDS Day on December 1 there were 207 HIV infected people in Latvia, in Lithuania - 1...
