Musicians strike back with campaign of silence

RIGA - Fed up with the huge revenue losses caused by piracy, Latvia's music industry recently decided to show the public what life would be like if it were not around. On Sep. 1, they literally stopped the music.For one hour on that morning, major commercial radio stations refused to play any music. Throughout the day, no music videos were broadcast on major TV stations.
