Finno-Ugric conference in jeopardy

TALLINN (BNS) - A planned Tartu meeting of Finno-Ugric peoples throughout the world may not take place because the committee may not have enough money to foot the bill.The conference, scheduled for this fall, is intended to strengthen ties and encourage cooperation between Finno-Ugric peoples in Europe and further afield.
