Memorandum of understanding to be signed between Culture Ministries of Latvia and Moldova

RIGA - Culture Minister Agnese Lace (New Unity) will make a working visit to Moldova from this Tuesday to Thursday, LETA was told at the Culture Ministry.

During her visit, Lace is scheduled to meet with Moldovan Culture Minister Cristian Jardan to discuss topics concerning media policy, heritage conservation and support for Ukraine.

The agenda of the Latvian minister's visit also includes the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Culture Ministries of Latvia and Moldova. The document provides for cooperation in media services, the audiovisual and film industries.

Lace will also meet with members of the culture committee of the Moldovan parliament and representatives of the audiovisual council to discuss media literacy, social cohesion and heritage-related matters.

At the end of her visit, Lace will take part in the opening of Latvian artist Martins Cacka's solo exhibition at the National Museum of Art of Moldova.
