Lithuanian president welcomes Germany's progress in convincing Poland, Hungary on budget

VILNIUS – Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has welcomed the progress achieved by the German EU presidency in convincing Poland and Hungary on the European Union's multiannual budget. He also expressed hope that the agreement would be approved during the European Council meeting in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, saying that all member states were awaiting it.
