Lithuania's leaders don't plan to meet with Dalai Lama, but some MPs do

Members of the Lithuanian parliament's Provisional Group for Solidarity with Tibetans intend to meet with the Dalai Lama during his visit to Lithuania in June, but the country's top officials do not plan to do so. "No doubt, our group has such plans. The talk now is about which higher education school could become the venue for our meeting with the Dalai Lama," Arunas Gelunas, vice-chairman of the six-member parliamentary group, said.
