Karins to meet with top EU, NATO officials in Brussels

RIGA - Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins during his visit to Brussels on Wednesday will meet with the top EU and NATO officials, LETA learned from the prime minister's office.

Karins is scheduled to meet with European Parliament President David Sassoli and European Council President Donald Tusk.

The officials plan to discuss current EU matters, including Brexit, climate policy, the multi-annual budget and external relations.

Also, the Latvian prime minister will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss regional security issues.
