Italy, Germany to continue NATO's Baltic air-policing mission for another 3 months

VILNIUS – The Italian and German Air Forces will continue to carry out NATO's air-policing mission in the Baltic states for another three months from January, the Lithuanian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday. Italy will continue to lead the 55th rotation of the mission from the Lithuanian Air Force's base in Siauliai, augmented by Germany from the Estonian Air Force's base in Amari.
