Helve and Civitta join forces to strengthen innovation and AI capabilities in the Baltics

Innovation management company Helve has announced its integration into the international consulting firm Civitta. The merger is driven by the rapid evolution of the Baltic and European innovation landscape, where the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in business has shifted from a competitive advantage to a fundamental necessity. It responds to growing market demand for a “one-stop” innovation partner that combines strong local technological expertise with international delivery capabilities.

“This merger marks a natural and exciting step in our development. Over the past decade, we have built a strong reputation through close ties with the startup ecosystem and our ability to help organizations navigate the rapidly evolving AI landscape. By combining our local networks and specialized innovation expertise with the group’s international scale and broad service offering, we are creating a powerful platform for further growth. Our contribution lies in a technologically advanced and agile approach to innovation, while the group provides the infrastructure and global presence that enables our clients to access full-cycle services - from identifying new innovations and technologies to their implementation and international scaling,” says Līva Pērkone, co-founder of Helve, who will continue her role in the combined organization as Associate Partner.

“Latvia is a key market where we see strong potential for further development of our services. Helve’s practical and technology-driven working culture makes it an excellent addition to our team. Together, we will be able to effectively combine our international network with deep local market expertise,” says Adam Saulius Vaina, CEO of Civitta Group.

Helve was founded in 2018 by Līva Pērkone and Marija Ručevska and has since become a key player in the region’s development, actively implementing Baltic-wide projects, fostering an innovation-driven culture, and positioning itself as one of the leading advocates for AI adoption. By integrating Helve’s experience in corporate innovation sprints and startup collaboration, the combined team is well-positioned to lead large-scale innovation and sustainability projects not only in the Baltics but also beyond. This step ensures that clients will receive support across the entire innovation cycle, enabling successful digital and green transformation.
