Real estate development company SBA Urban announces a change in its executive leadership. Lionginas Šepetys, Chairman of the Board, is assuming the role of CEO, succeeding Mantas Kuncaitis, who has led the company to date.
The decision was reached by mutual agreement following an update to the company's development strategy and its investment priorities for the coming years. SBA Urban is concentrating on the development of mixed-use districts – first and foremost the multifunctional Nemunaičiai quarter currently under development in Kaunas, where the second phase is being completed and further phases are in the pipeline, and the Urban Hub business park in Kaunas and its continued expansion.
“Updated development priorities have led to changes in the management structure. To ensure a clear focus on these priorities, we are transitioning to a more streamlined operating model. We are grateful to Mantas Kuncaitis for his contribution in shaping the current direction of SBA Urban,” says Lionginas Šepetys, Chairman of the Board and CEO of SBA Urban.
In 2026, the company plans to invest EUR 29.5 million, with approximately EUR 27 million allocated to projects in Kaunas and the Kaunas district. The largest share – EUR 18.5 million – is earmarked for residential real estate, while EUR 11 million will be directed to commercial projects. Investment also continues in Svencelė, where SBA Urban is developing the Vėjo miestelis project, and in the capital Vilnius, where the “Urban Hub” business town is being further expanded alongside new planned investments in residential real estate.
