Government to invest EUR 49.91 million in Riga Airport's share capital

The Cabinet of Ministers decided on April 24 to increase the Riga International Airport's share capital by EUR 49.91 million. The government also decided that the airport would not have to pay dividends for 2019 in the amount of EUR 4.51 million. The ministry explained that these steps would help ensure the airport's ability to overcome the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and stabilize the airport's operations.
