Georgian president, Moldovan PM to attend ex-Lithuanian president's conference in Vilnius

VILNIUS – Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and Moldovan Prime Minister Maia Sandu will come to Lithuania this week to attend the traditional conference named after Lithuania's former President Valdas Adamkus and focusing on Europe's ties with the United States and Eastern policy issues.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has also been invited to the conference but will not be able to come due to a busy schedule, the organizers told BNS Lithuania.

The conference will take place on Aug 22-23, and participants will be welcomed by Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. Participants will include politicians, diplomats and analysts from the United States, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Romania and Latvia.
