VILNIUS - European Council President Antonio Costa will pay a visit to Lithuania ant Tuesday and meet with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, the Presidential Office said on Monday.
"The bilateral meeting will focus on key issues of the new EU political season - in particular, European support for Ukraine, the strengthening of EU security and defense, resilience of critical infrastructure, migration, competitiveness, and the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2034," the statement said.
It will be Costa's first visit to Vilnius as president of the European Council. He visited Lithuania in October last year before assuming the position.
