TALLINN - Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid has appointed to office six ambassadors to represent the country at different international organizations.
The head of state appointed Clyde Kull as the Estonian ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and recalled Alar Streimann from the same position. The Estonian ambassador to the OECD and UNESCO resides in Paris.
The president also appointed Miko Haljas as the Estonian ambassador to the League of Arab States and permanent observer to the African Union and recalled Sander Soone from both positions. The Estonian ambassador to the League of Arab States resides in Cairo.
The president appointed Kersti Eesmaa as the Estonian ambassador to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and recalled Andres Unga from the same position. The Estonian ambassador to ASEAN resides in Canberra.
The president appointed Sander Soone as the Estonian ambassador to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and recalled Eve-Kulli Kala from the same position. The Estonian ambassador to OSCE resides in Vienna.
The president appointed Katrin Saarsalu-Layach as the Estonian ambassador to the UN and other international organizations and recalled Andre Pung from the same Geneva-based position.
Furthermore, the president appointed Rasmus Lumi the Estonian ambassador to the Council of Europe and recalled Katrin Kivi from the position. The Estonian ambassador to the Council of Europe resides in Strasbourg.
