RIGA - The following is the calendar of main business events scheduled in the Baltic states next week.

MONDAY, Jan. 8

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the Cabinet of Ministers Committee meeting.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the meeting of the Cooperation Council of the ruling parties.

Latvia. The State Audit Office to publish results of an efficiency audit regarding road safety in Latvia.

Lithuania. The Environment Ministry to give a news conference to present a new state forestry enterprise.

Lithuania. Lithuanian Economy Minister Virginijus Sinkevicius to visit San Francisco on Jan. 8-11 for the 36th J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference and related events.

TUESDAY, Jan. 9

Estonia. Minister of the Environment Siim Kiisler to meet with Swedish State Secretary to the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Climate Eva Svedling.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to meet with the top officials of the Latvian Confederation of Employers.

Latvia. Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis to chair the Cabinet of Ministers meeting.

Latvia. Latvian Finance Minister Dana Reizniece-Ozola to participate in the conference about the Multiannual Financial Framework after 2020 organized by the European Commission.
