24% of residents embarrassed by the government

RIGA, Mar 13, BNS - 24 percent of residents are not proud of their government and most believe that there are three ministers that have to go - Education and Science Minister Karlis Sadurskis (Unity), Justice Minister Dzintars Rasnacs (National Alliance), and Welfare Minister Janis Reirs (Unity), newspaper Diena writes today citing a survey carried out by the Rait Latvija company.

24 percent of respondents told Rait Latvjia that there was not a single minister that they could be proud of. 12 percent went on to say that all ministers had to be replaced, and 8 percent said they felt ashamed of all the ministers in the government.

23 percent believe that Sadurskis is the most incompetent minister and has to be replaced, calling him an embarrassment. 7 percent named Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis (Greens/Farmers) and 4 percent - Rasnacs.

The other ministers that residents consider incompetent and needing to be replaced are Defense Minister Raimodns Bergmanis (Greens/Farmers), Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics (Unity), Health Minister Anda Caksa, Transport Minister Uldis Augulis (Greens/Farmers), Environmental Protection and Regional Development Minister Kaspars Gerhards (National Alliance), and Reirs.

As for who is the smartest minister, 18 percent named Economics Minister Dana Reizniece-Ozola (Greens/Farmers) and 10 percent named Rinkevics.
