The 2025 entertainment program on Tallink cruise ships was the most popular in recent years. Eighteen special cruises took place on the Tallinn–Stockholm route, many of which sold out at full capacity of 2400 passengers. Throughout the year, audiences were treated to performances by some of the biggest names in Estonian music, from nublu to Anne Veski.
"Entertainment has played a key role on Tallink's cruise ships for years, but the last season clearly confirmed a trend — our passengers prefer live performances," said Kairi Maidla, head of entertainment at Tallink Grupp. "In addition to popular artists who are always eagerly awaited by the audience, we also bring new artists to the stage of the ship's large show bar every year. This year, there was an especially large number of such artists: säm, 5MIINUST, Púr Múdd, Synne Valtri, Dagö, and nublu, to name a few. We already have a few surprises in store for the new year," Maidla added.
The most popular artists in 2025 were nublu and the band Smilers, whose performances were attended by nearly 2400 passengers on the Swedish cruise.
"It's great," said Smilers singer Hendrik Sal-Saller, who highly rated the ship concerts. "The audience doesn't come to these concerts by chance. The atmosphere is good, and the concerts are great. Everything has been made very pleasant for us, and we feel very comfortable on the ship," Sal-Saller pointed out.
A very special event last year was the popular Summer Night special cruise, where singer Anne Veski performed with several other beloved artists. The highly anticipated autumn cruise for seniors featured Reet Linna and the legendary band Laine.
For over ten years, Estonian and foreign artists have performed on the stage of the Baltic Queen Starlight Show Bar. What began as "Let's Party" special cruises featuring DJs has evolved into a diverse series of live concerts, establishing the ship as the largest nightclub in the Baltic Sea. The star artists’ concert program will continue at a brisk pace until May, and Tallink will soon announce information about the fall 2026 season.
