Wine & Dine Guide

Lauro Lapas, literally meaning “bay leaf,” is a brave new venture by two young local chefs promising both quality and innovation. Lauro Lapas features contemporary international cuisine with a charming Lithuanian twist.
The menu includes a limited choice of a la carte dining such as beef, beetroot, and chicken liver or asparagus soup with quail egg, as well as daily offers, changing according to the season and the availability of local products. The food is very fresh and homely, yet features sophisticated ingredients and great flavour combinations, offering such rarities in Lithuania as pheasant alongside a more conservative menu of international food all cooked with panache and a twist. Portions are far more generous than expected.

The eclectic modern interior showcasing wooden wine boxes, cookbooks, and fresh herbs provides a delightful background to admire the beautifully presented meal and enjoy the adventurous combinations and unexpected tastes.
The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday and is the best option for a quick lunch or a laid-back Saturday dinner. When it’s cold and windy outside, the best idea is to spend a nice cozy evening with someone you love and to share a great meal.

Lauro Lapas welcomes you at Pamenkalnio g. 24, Vilnius. To make your table booking please call +370 6100 1215
