Tour operator Join UP! Baltic served 42% more clients this summer

Tour operator Join UP! Baltic that started its active operations in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in April 2022, has served 42% more clients this summer than a year before. In total, it has organized tours to Turkey, Egypt and Montenegro for 85 000 tourists in the Baltic states so far this year.  

Turkey has remained the most popular summer destination in summer 2023 where almost 50% of all travellers went this summer. Egypt and Montenegro were other summer destinations that Join UP! Baltic offered to Baltic travellers this season. Montenegro and Egypt during summertime has been available during the summer as a new product in travel market this year and has gained popularity among Baltic travellers.  

Overall, this year more than a third part of travellers (37%) were family with children. Biggest part of travellers (almost 40%) are in the age group from 36 till 49. 

"As a new summer destination, an alternative to hot Europe, this summer we brought to the market possibility to travel to Egypt in summer. Tour operator Join UP!™, under which brand works Join UP! Baltic, organizes trips throughout the year from other countries since 2014. Tours to Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh, with Join UP! Baltic are available from Vilnius and Tallinn, were also chosen by travellers from Riga. We observe that the weather in stereotypically hot Egypt is even less hot and more pleasant than in places in Europe. And we think that next year summer Egypt will become more and more popular among Baltic travellers, especially because of the growing heat in Europe during summers. Next summer we are planning to launch summer tours to Sharm el Sheikh also from Riga. Warm sea with incredible sea life, beautiful sunsets and competitive price attracts customers to choose Egypt more and more often as their summer season vacation destination”, says Sabina Saikovskaja, CEO and board member of Join UP! “Also, we see that Montenegro is becoming more and more popular and sought-after destination this summer. Montenegro offers more pleasant, more comfortable air temperatures than elsewhere in Europe, wonderful natural landscapes, mountains, and relaxation on the seashore. It was around 26-30 degrees (while it was close and above 40 in other countries in Europe) in the mountains the temperature is lower during summer, but still very summery. Tours to Montenegro are organized from May until mid-September in collaboration with airline "Air Montenegro"," notes S.Saikovskaja.
