Baltic real estate developer “Linstow Baltic” presented the SPORTA 2 quarter multifunctional urban development project at the international real estate exhibition MIPIM in Cannes, France. The project was showcased at the Riga city stand, where its development concept and future potential were introduced to international investors, business representatives and urban development experts. The first phase of the SPORTA 2 quarter development project is planned to open in 2028, with the main focus on the development of A-class office spaces.

SPORTA 2 quarter is a new multifunctional urban development project in central Riga, located in a strategically important area between the UNESCO World Heritage site “Historic Centre of Riga” and the rapidly developing Skanste neighbourhood. The project is designed to create a dynamic and vibrant environment where historic industrial heritage integrates with contemporary urban development trends.

“The goal of SPORTA 2 quarter is to create a modern, multifunctional urban environment that will become one of the leading districts in central Riga - a place for business, everyday life and leisure. In the first phase of the project, scheduled to open in 2028, the main focus will be on the development of A-class office spaces, which will account for approximately 85% of the first phase. SPORTA 2 quarter will offer modern and flexible workspaces - ranging from corporate headquarters to coworking environments - designed to enhance productivity and wellbeing. The project will also include rooftop terraces and shared spaces, creating an inspiring setting for collaboration, meetings and the development of new ideas.

The development carefully preserves and integrates the site’s historic industrial heritage, while complementing it with contemporary architectural and technological solutions. The project is being developed in accordance with BREEAM sustainability standards, creating a high-quality and sustainable urban environment.
