Shopping centre AKROPOLE Rīga will celebrate its 5th anniversary with special surprises for visitors

Shopping and entertainment centre AKROPOLE Rīga will celebrate its fifth anniversary – Latvia’s most modern shopping centre opened its doors to visitors for the first time on 4 April 2019. To celebrate this event, from 4 to 6 April, AKROPOLE Rīga will offer visitors a wide range of events and surprises – special offers and discounts, games, gifts, competitions for visitors, as well as a concert by Melo M in the event area and a disco evening on the ice with DJ Edgars Bercis.

AKROPOLE Rīga has continuously evolved over the past five years to provide visitors with a new shopping and entertainment experience, offering several new and previously unknown brands in the Latvian market, such as the multi-brand store VAN GRAAF, lifestyle and sports stores USC and adidas Originals, the only IMAX cinema in Latvia, which offers an immersive movie watching experience, as well as stores such as Oysho and Creme de la Creme and other brands that opened their first stores in Latvia in the shopping centre AKROPOLE Rīga. 

Expanding the offer, at the end of March AKROPOLE Rīga opened its doors to the Italian fashion house Weekend MaxMara and the leisurewear and footwear store Timberland, and in the near future several new stores will be opened, including the jewellery store Fashion Zone, the lingerie store Penti, the animaji store and more; several already popular stores will also open their doors in new, more spacious premises.

The shopping centre’s anniversary celebrations will start on 4 April with a spectacular event – disco on the ice with DJ Edgars Bercis, who will get the guests moving from 18.00 to 22.15. On Friday, 5 April, visitors will be able to enjoy great entertainment offers, including a 50% discount on bowling at the entertainment centre O’Learys, the opportunity to buy two tickets for the price of one at Apollo Kino Akropole Rīga and the children’s amusement park MaryMaris, as well as a 50% discount on ice skating at the ice arena.

The anniversary celebrations will end with a wide-ranging programme on Saturday, 6 April. Everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy free performances by DJ Edgars Bercis, TDA Vektors and the band Melo M – the concert of the popular local cello trio will start at 15.00. Visitors will also be able to indulge in various games and activities, such as getting creative in the cupcake decorating workshop, taking adrenaline-fuelled drives in the car simulator and capturing memories in front of the interactive mirror. In addition, by participating in at least three activities and collecting stamps, everyone will receive prizes from Lieliska Dāvana, Lāči, KFC, Hooligaan Bubble Tea, Maxima, Sala, Narvesen, Coverme, VARVIKAS, Lemon Gym, Vitamins.lv, Domino Pizza, Tet, KIDZONE, Jānis Roze, LLOYD, MICABEAUTY COSMETICS, STENDERS, L’OCCITANE and O'Learys. All activities will take place in the event area between entrances A and F from 12.00 to 19.00.
