One-third of Latvian bus passengers in Latvia always wear seat belts

In Latvia, 35 per cent of passengers always wear seat belts when travelling on a bus as opposed to 75 per cent, who always fasten their seat belts when riding in a passenger car, according to a poll carried out by Estonian bus operator Lux Express offering services in the Baltic States. Among the Latvian respondents, 35 per cent always wear seat belts when travelling on a bus, 30 per cent mostly choose to fasten their seat belts in buses, 20 per cent do it rarely, and 15 per cent never use seat belts in buses.
