Work continues on electricity connections

VILNIUS - Daivis Virbickas, CEO of Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid, says that construction of LitPol Link and NordBalt electricity lines is going as planned, reports ELTA. Virbickas admitted though, that it is difficult to forecast electricity prices, yet, the increased supply will bring benefits to Lithuania, which is one of the major electricity importers in Europe.The last contract for the LitPol Link first stage construction, which will connect Lithuania and Poland, was signed in November.
