TALLINN - The Riigikogu extended on Dec. 11 the participation of Estonian Defense Forces’ members in international peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan, Kosovo, the Middle East, Mali and NATO response forces and gave permission to participate, if need be, in the work of NATO or European Union military headquarters, reports Postimees Online.The decision extended the use of up to 170 military personnel in the NATO-led peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan till the end of next year.
