Cargo turnover grows at Klaipeda Port; Latvian and Estonian ports register decreases

RIGA - Compared to the corresponding period in 2012, cargo turnover grew 15.8 percent at the Port of Klaipeda and the Butinge oil terminal in January-February 2013; the Port of Tallinn and Latvian ports recorded a 4.9 percent decrease, according to Nozare.lv statistics. Cargo turnover at Latvian ports reached 12.16 million tons in the first two months of 2013, 4.9 percent less than in the respective period of 2012, according to the Latvian Port, Transit and Logistics Council.
