Cabinet approves electricity law amendment

RIGA - The Cabinet of Ministers committee on Feb. 18 approved amendments to Latvia’s Electricity Market Law, which stipulate that the market will be deregulated for households on Sept. 1 this year, reports Nozare.lv. This means that households, like legal entities now, will have to choose their electricity distributor.
