RIGA - The director of the Latvian Transport Ministry’s Transit Policy Department Andris Maldups said to the business information portal Nozare.lv that Belarus is not planning on diverting transit cargo from Latvian to Russian ports at the moment, but that the country is evaluating transportation proposals from Moscow, as Minsk is not prepared to overpay for such services.
