Michal steps down amid weakened Reform Party

TARTU - After more than six months from the beginning of the party funding scandal, Minister of Justice Kristen Michal announced on Dec. 6 his decision to resign from his position. “I am resigning to protect the Estonian Reform Party and the functioning of the government. It is my personal decision,” he stated.
