Our attention is drawn to the article on November 15, written by Mr. Song Tao, China’s Vice Foreign Minister in charge of European Affairs.
There are some factual errors in his account on the Senkaku Islands, to which he refers as Diaoyu Islands.
He claims that the islands were stolen by Japan during the “first Sino-Japanese war,” but his argument is completely unfounded.
