MOSCOW - Latvian illusionist Genadijs Palcevskis (also known as Mr. Fix) has set a new world record after remaining encased in ice for more than 64 hours, national news agency LETA reported.

Palcevskis beat the old record by 32 minutes. He made the attempt during an exhibition in Moscow.

He is currently in the hospital, where they are monitering his vital signs. He will likely be able to return to Latvia next week.
