DESTINATION - AIRPORT: Last fall, a new railway route was launched between the Vilnius Railway Station and the Vilnius International Airport.
VILNIUS - The state-owned company Lithuanian Railways has an almost 150 year history. In 1860, the first locomotive arrived in Vilnius from Daugavpils. While Lithuanian Railways already started to celebrate its anniversary promoting the company, on Oct. 19 - 20, the giant ideas for the railways of the 21st century were discussed at the ASEM in Vilnius.
