GETTING IT TOGETHER: Anastacia opens up in her latest album to her inner emotions.

VILNIUS - A new approach, a new image, but still the same strong, distinctive and enchanting voice.
Anastacia is back!

Anastacia has a new image, with the appearance of radical change; this compared with 2004 - the natural hair and expressive eyes, which her glasses don't conceal. She is very happy that people recognize her because of her voice and songs, not because of her new image which still was a pleasant surprise for lots of her fans. After a four-year break that ended in 2008 the singer released her fourth album 'Heavy Rotation,' with an image that is completely different than in the previous albums. It is much more emotional and opens the other side of the singer.

As always, the songs on this album are a modern mix of R&B and pop/rock, and on the cover appear such well-known names as Grammy award winner/songwriter Rodney Jerkins, and Robbie Williams' partner, Guy Chambers.

These past years has seen Anastacia battling through a serious illness, and therefore the 'Heavy Rotation' album has deep meaning, where her songs perfectly reflect the singer's life, which is now vibrant, full of change and happiness. In 2009 Anastacia won the prestigious 'World Artist Award' for best singer.

Anastacia Newkirk Lynn - an American rock/pop singer, debuted in 2000 releasing her album 'Not That Kind,' which gained unexpectedly huge success (her album reached the Top 10 in eight European and Far Eastern countries) and more than two million copies of the album have been sold.

Anastacia was born in 1968 in Chicago, her father the singer Robert Newkirk and mother Broadway actress Diana Hurley. When Anastacia was 14, her parents divorced, and her mother moved to New York, where Anastacia began studying at Professional Children's School of Manhattan. All the students were related to one or another area of show business. Anastacia tried poetry, dance with the popular rap band Salt N'Pepa and performed in two video clips 'Get Up Everybody, Get Up' and 'Twist and Shout.'

The singer's second album, 'Freak of Nature,' was released in 2001, and the third, called 'Anastacia,' in 2004, after which she left the world's concert scene because of the illness. The singer came back on stage in 2008 and reached immediate success with her 'Heavy Rotation.'
Her only concert in the Baltics will be held on Sept. 10 in Siemens Arena, Vilnius. If you consider yourself among Anastacia's fans, then this is something you do not want to miss!
