Higher education awaits reformation

VILNIUS -  The Lithuanian higher education system must be reorganized in order to be efficient and competitive. However, it could be one of the toughest and most unpopular decisions to be made by the Andrius Kubilius-led government.  The usual complaints heard from experts and students are over the low quality of higher education. But this did not stop over 200,000 students from seeking a higher education in the country's 50 universities and colleges last year.
