Audrius Bruzga - the new Lithuania's ambassador to the US.

VILNIUS - Lithuanian Career Diplomat Audrius Bruzga has been appointed as the new Lithuania's ambassador to the US.
Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus signed a decree on Thursday [Feb. 15] by which Bruzga is appointed as an ambassador to the US starting from Feb. 26.
The government has approved the candidacy of Bruzga on Feb. 13.
The position of the ambassador to the US became vacant after the previous ambassador Vygaudas Usackas had been appointed to run the embassy in London.
Ambassadors are appointed and dismissed by the president on the government's motion and the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee's approval.
