Lines of trucks at Latvian-Lithuanian border significantly decreased

RIGA - Lines of trucks almost disappeared at the Latvian-Lithuanian border by Friday morning [Dec. 1], authorities said.
According to the information provided by Lithuanian border guards, there were just 20 vehicles waiting at a crossing point in Medumi, while in Grenctale, Subate and Meitene there were no queues at all.
Only a couple of days ago there were 300 trucks waiting at Medumi border crossing point.
However, meanwhile at the Latvian-Russian border, trucks were still queuing in long lines, with 700 vehicles waiting at Terehovo crossing point and 75 trucks lining in Grebnevo, the Latvian National Border Guard reported.
On Thursday, there were 495 trucks waiting in Terehovo and 90 in Grebnevo.
