Esther Dyson to invest in Estonia's CV-Online

TALLINN (BNS) - Esther Dyson, one of the most well-known investors into Internet products worldwide, will acquire a 13 percent holding in the Internet-based personnel search company CV-Online for nearly four million kroons ($ 250,000) under the company's equity financing plan.

At the beginning of February, a 22 percent stake in CV-Online went to New Economy Ventures, managed by the investment bank Lohmus, Haavel & Viisemann.

The new investment will increase the market value of CV-Online to 35-40 million kroons.

The founders of CV-Online will retain a stake of 65 percent in the company.

CV-Online posted a turnover of three million kroons in 1999 and has set its turnover target for the current year at seven million to eight million kroons.
