Latvian soldiers come under fire in Iraq

Latvian soldiers in Iraq came under fire last night near Divania, but suffered no casualties, the Defense Ministry announced.
The Latvian soldiers are stationed in military bases in Baghdad and Divania, which had been relatively quiet in recent days.
Latvian National Armed Forces spokesman Uldis Davidovs told BNS that "the unit had received a report about the base likely to come under fire."
